I was contacted by a David Harper on 12/08/09. He congratulated me on the approval for my $5000 personal loan. He said that he needed to fax me the contract for the loan. On 12/14/09 David faxed me the documents I signed them and faxed them back on 12/18/09. He then informed me that because I was a "high-risk" client I would need to put collateral on the loan. I am not a home-owner so he said the my risk assessment and loan amount I would need to provide 911.66. He had me Western Union the amount to a Sandra Sparks in Toronto, Ontario Canada. The total ended up being 996.00. I then received a call on 12/23/09 from a John Flemming informing me that the loan had been reassessed due to my risk status. He said that the money that was used as collateral would be accepted by a new lender but instead of a 6% fixed interest it would be a 7% interest. I then informed him that I wasn't interested he said that my money would be direct deposited into my account by the next day by 5pm. Of course it hasn't. I have contacted the Florida Attorney General, Orlando Police Dept, Canadian Competition Bureau, and Western Union. The FBI has finally assigned someone to the case. If you have been "scammed" you need to contact the police and the rest I listed, also keep all documents including contracts, receipts, voice-mails, etc... Also, if you look up the address the group gives it is KB Homes not Regent Financial Group.
