I have been writing checks for over 30 years without any problems - I have NEVER been denied a check - all of a sudden every 5th or 6th check is stopped by telecheck. I called and after listening to an unending barrage of voice mail who-ha spoke to an individual who could not provide me any reason the check was denied other than lack of information - which has not changed in the past 15 years. Their wise advice was to call from the store (I do not OWN a cell phone - nor wish to own one) and they would be happy to approve the check. Where are the consumer's rights? We are trying to GIVE money in very tough economic times - and if by chance the check does bounce - THEY make money - it is a win-win for them!!!
In a never ending loss of personal freedoms, it seems an individual has no rights. I will be happy to join any class action suit against this company who seems to enjoy making people suffer.
