My wife received a phone call from PCH claiming a notice had been sent 4 weeks ago staing her win of $450,000 in PCH 2nd place. Nicole Peterson of the National Gaming Council (1-800-369-7871, ext. 103) gave her the claim # 002790 and told her to call PCH @ 1-800-350-1526 for verification, then call her back to start the FED-EX delivery of the 2 checks — $450,000 and $1500 and a 1099G tax-free form. The $1500 check was reimbursement for the $1500 check my wife was to send her to cover the insurance on the FED-EX delivery of "such a large amount". Thanks to this Ripoff service we avoided a sad lesson. We are both retired in in our 70's.
