I received a letter along with a check that stated I won $438,389.00. I was to send a check for $27.67 along with my signed letter to the Las Vegas address in order to receive my winnings. I am usually pretty skeptical of get rich quick schemes, so I did a little searching and came across an article from Australia dated 2 Nov spelling out how an elderly man got scammed by this exact company... Same address, exact amount and verbage used in my letter. Further digging just added furel to the fire proving that this was nothing but a scam.
Luckily I didn't send any money, but I feel this company and those like it should be prosecuted because it preys on the weak and vulnerable. I hope formats like this can help do just that.
