My simple re-finance loan process took over 12 weeks to finally close because of countless Amerisave staff errors, misinformation, failure to file accurate and proper documents with their corresponding Title company and genera lack of knowledge from the Mortgage Processor (Lisa Lemaire), to the Loan Processor (Mary Jones) to the National Sales Mangaer (David Grill). On two separate scheduled closing dates, the closing had to be canceled because of Amerisave errors on the 1003 Form and HUD. The result was that Amerisave had to extend my loan rate lock-in two times. The result was higher closing costs because of lower credits. Also, Amerisave lied and "welched" on the amount of "credits" they had promised me. Amerisave also waited until the most propitious date to guarantee my lock-in rate and estimated costs (of course, that amount was much higher than the dates/amounts they promised). This company advertises lower fees, costs, and closing time periods of "as little as 10 days but, normally plan on 30 days". This is a direct advertising lie and this company should be prosecuted for flagrant violations of the Truth in Advertising Act. This was the most shameful, unprofessional mortgage company that I have ever dealt with in the past 25 years. Many other people have had similar complaints and, there is a movement to take a class action suit against this company. I personally do not recommend Amerisave and suggest people research the myriad and numerous complaints by other clients who were given similar unprofessional and extremely bad service and misinformation and welching of promises.
