I have contacted the FBI in this matter and am trying to get as many people who have been hurt by DeMarco to contact the FBI in the Philadelphia area, there is an open case that is being investigated.
Also, be sure to contact the Dept. Of Consumer Affairs of New Jersey and Pennsylvania (if applicable). The more people who do this the better chance that we have to ban TOGETHER and to be taken seriously by the authorities to get our lives back that DeMarco REI has stolen from all of us!!! Don't just contact your County Prosecuters office by phone, I have found it is best to show up in person, it seems to be much more effective.
My ordeal is as follows...
Forclosure Rescue Scam from DeMarco REI and/or OPMG, LLC.
Out of New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania, thus crossing state lines.
We were a victim of this scam starting Sept. 08.
To the best of my knowledge the following are examples of oral statements made by an Employee of DeMarco, REI... These were all lies
August- September:
"You will be paying less than you are paying now"
"We will get the apartments rented out for you so you'll get rental income that will allow you to help pay your debt"
In March:
They had us sign paperwork in a manner that made us feel under duress and they made it seem that signing was extremely urgent stating that we had to sign "THAT DAY" or we would find ourselves in immediate foreclosure.
"this transaction will allow you to have funds that will be held in "Escrow" to help with future payments and unexpected hardships and credit repair."
This was all a lie as now we found out that he had an investor, Stephen Paolucci, take out a loan against our home and the deed is now in DeMarco's name and not in the investor's name Stephen Paolucci.
I have been sent "Eviction Notices" by an investor who claims he is the legal owner of the property, I know this to be unlawful as a legitimate eviction notice can only be served by the police department in my township.
