Over a year ago i authorized directv to charge a cable bill that a friend owed to my credit card. September 19 they then went back in his financial records at their corporation and fould my credit card number and charge me $384 because he had gotten behind in his payments. When i authorized the charge a year ago to help him out i didn't know that my credit card information would be kept on file so that they could charge me for his past due account. I thought under thre privacy laws that they could not do this.
