Being recently unemployed, I replied to some Craigslist advertisement for Mystery Shopper - to create a few dollars privately while still searching for function. Corresponded via mail having a Jim Mosher (prolly a phony name). Was informed that I'd be delivered a check that we'll be utilizing to look with - which seemed regular - I'm in the end likely to be buying, dining-out, etc. Which is "function" for me personally.
I obtain a sign in the email to get a massive $1500.00 - delivered via UPS from the Ben Middle (prolly another phony title) having a California, Florida address. There have been no other styles, directions within the cover - simply the WELLS FARGO check - consideration title: GOLDZONE COMPANY, located in Vegas.
Bad, fishy...
Affirmed, I obtain the directions from RICK MOSHER. He needed me to deposit the check, remove some quantity as my "charge", consider another add up to purchase anything at WalMart, AFTER WHICH moneygram the remaining to somebody in North Park. Hmmm...
Seemed like a FRAUD in my experience but I still desired to verify my accusations by visiting the financial institution - I also lender with WELLS FARGO. Affirmed, the consideration does not occur, the check wont actually check, and that I was informed they have run into comparable inspections in the same (phony) organization.
I really hope no body else falls victim for this.
Not simply dislike individuals who make the most of the disadvantaged (ie unemployed, down & out, etc.)?
