What everyone should know about Commercial Lending Capital

As a ex employee there is something not quite right about Commercial Lending Capital. First of all they hire and hire and hire... People to telemarket. There is one week of brainwashing (they call it training). Every word you are trained to say is scripted and you cannot deviate from that script once you are on the phones. I was really shocked that a business could operate as shady as Commercial Lending Capital does and without consequences.

They hire you in as an "INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR", yet you punch a time clock with a one hour lunch, like an employee. So, I surmise the reason you are labeled as an independent is because they DO NOT PAY YOU A SALARY. They pay for loans that the "telemarketers" bring in $100.00 for loans that range from $250,000 to $500,000. If you bring in a loan over $500,000 they pay you $500.00 plus 2 basis points after funding. Problem there is that at CLC the telemarketers NEVER know whether or not the loans ever fund.

Really, the way they have that company structured it is like slave labor. They demand that you make no less than a 100 calls per day, every day! And you have to convince Brokers to send their clients to CLC all without telling the Brokers, ANYTHING. CLC does not allow you to tell them anything. No rates, no term... No nothing. Just get those unsuspecting clients in, get that pre-approval, they collect the client's money and it is anyone's guess as to what happens from there.

And to make matters worst for employees, if you do not bring in a least 9 loans per month CLC charges you a $500.00 per month desk fee. I mean this company is really something.

I was only with CLC for about 3 weeks. However, I did not agree with the sneaky manner in which they do business. IT IS BAD!!! And that Clinton Davis, he's a CON ARTIST. They all are. Clc is like a bad pyramid scheme. And when people are losing their hard earned money it is a tragedy that company's like CLC go unscaved. When I discovered their unsavory business tactics... I QUIT! I will not be a part of that. Because once you convince the Broker to send their client to CLC, we get the paperwork in that is it for us. The client is put into another screen where we had NO ACCESS and we had NO further contact with the client. Any and all contact from that point with the client is handled by the people who gives the "pre-approvals", so if a loan does actually fund... You would never know and probably not get paid.

And, that Appraiser is exactly right. Clc does not pay the appraisers. I over heard a one sided conversation with Jackie the receptionist and an appraiser on the other end and she was repeating to someone else that the appraiser was not going to release the appraisal until he got paid.

Consumers should really be aware of CLC. And please know one thing... CLC is constantly updating the verbiage that the telemarketers use on the phone to fit their devious business tactics. So the scripts are forever changing to pull consumers in allowing CLC to gain their trust and CLC clearly CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
