Anyone know an aspiring attorney interested in filing a lawsuit (class action looks probable with the other reports on this site) against National Recovery Agency? The amount is only $32.00 - but from a vendor whose product I never ordered or recieved to an address I never occupied. While the amount is trivial, the principal of being leveraged in this manner is criminal. As mentioned, I'm in the middle of the re-finance process. The fixed 30 year mortgage rate is dependant on my FICO score - which has taken a large hit as a result of this inaccurate slam from NRA. Possibly - when my score is re-run, I will be forced to pay a higher interest rate, costing me thousands over the life of the mortgage. Even If I refinanced again after this was fixed, new closing costs are thousands. Having to re-lock interst rates while this is fixed has costs as well. Banks are making a premier FICO score essential in re-financing, and this false reporting to leverage a few dollars from us must be addressed by a court mandated punitive action. With my situation - a actual dollar value is at risk and could be determined because of neglegence. I can't be alone on this - and I am taking other routes to fix. I could cave and just shovel the $32.00 and be done - but from what I've seen on this site and others; what is happening is wrong, unfair and criminal.
