Not long ago, I was desperate for money but I never really applied for anything officially, because I was afraid of fine print, so I gave general info. Then I recieved a letter about my checking account, that I only had for a week and had no money in, was overdrafted by 149.99 dollars and I also owed a fee to the bank of 25.00 for the overdraft. I don't remember ever applying for these people or giving them permission to access my account.
The only reason i was researching payday loans is because I'm on state assistance and we barely get enough to make it by, but I had given up looking when this happened. These people pray on the fact that the economy is bad and people need money... You could almost call them thieves. But maybe that is extreme. BUt the point is I can't afford debt, when my family is already struggling. I just want to be paid back so I can pay off my bank and close the account. Someone has to stop these guys from taking other innocent peoples last bit of money, well in my case money I didn't even have.
