I too ordered Acai Berry Detox and Bromalite off of the websites and paid a small shipping and handling charge for my 'FREE' samples. It's not free if you have to pay even one cent.
I cancelled within their posted time frames but they both debited my bank account anyway. $87.13 and $69.95 respectively. I called both places again today and demanded a refund.
They said without a confirmation number I probably wouldn't get one. I told them that I had better get a refund or I was going to post about this all over the internet plus report them to the BBB and Attorney General, etc. Etc.
I am furious about this. I don't see how they can get away with it. What a rip-off!
I also wrote a letter to my bank explaining about all this and showing them the debit amounts and asked them not to honor any more debits from these companies.
