I checked my credit report back in April and noticed that NRA had placed a collection on my account. I called and asked what was it for and the rude customer service representative said I opened an account in 2005 in a different state. I told her that I have no knowledge of the account and asked that they send me an itemized bill. Meanwhile my credit score has been hit terribly and I have disputed the item with all of the credit bureaus. TransUnion is the only one who deleted the item.
