This company was recently established in December, and operates as a legitimate company.
They ask that brokers provide information on the commercial property that is searching for a loan and then immediately issue a Letter of Commitment for a Non-Recourse loan with an unbelievable interest rate. Once the Borrower wire transfers $4,595, and copies of tax returns and personal information, LCC begin their supposed "Due Diligence" process. The account represenatative continues to call the broker giving an update from Underwriting stating that Terms are forthcoming, but then low an behold, underwriting issues an email stating that there is a Condition on the loan, and the condition has to be removed in order for a loan to be provided.
The condition is ridiculous, and no way can be removed, therefore, LCC cannot make the loan. They want the borrower to submit a letter saying they are backing out of the loan process, then LCC does not have to refund the money.
It's a total SCAM. John Keenan recently had a different company by the name of Commercial Equity Management which also operated in the same manner, and was also found to be fraudulent. Mike Simon works for John Keenan as a Senior Vice President and is part of the SCAM. An attorney by the name of Edward F. Siegel has forwarded email stating that no money will be refunded.
