They promised me a loan modification with my morgage company and required payment for their services and i paid them. It is 4 months later and i can not even get a phone conversation with anyone in the office

They promised me a loan modification with my morgage company and required payment for their services and i paid them. Now they say they can not help me and will not refund my money. I have called thier office nad no one will speak to me. I was promised that they would help me and here it is 4 months later and i can not even get a phone conversation with anyone in the office
