I participate in an ESPP plan at work (employee stock purchase plan)—USB is my brocker (self chosen). On 3/10/09 I spoke with Shannon and finalized that I would like to sell the share that I own—She confirmed the price and the amount that I would recieved—I expressed that I am in need of the money and this is the reason that I am selling at a lost&We agreed on the three day period to clear and then she would send my check "express" at my expense. On 3/20/09 I called to inquire as to the disposition. Shannon informed me that there had been a gliche and I would have my check by Sa-3/21/09&I have not recieved my check as of 3/22/09&tomorrow will be exactly two weeks since I implemented my action&I can not understand why 1) it is taking so long—2) should I have been notified of this "gliche"&3) I can't help but wonder if there is a financial benifit to UBS having these "gliches"&Has anyone experienced this???
