Raised intrest rates for no reason

I had my intrest rate and min. Payment raised for no apparent reason. When I called in January of 09 I was told this was done because intrest rates were up and that there are now 31 days in a billing cycle not 30 days so min. Payment had to go as did my intrest. I am no paying 155. Per month with an intrest rate of 29.99% on my mastercard. When I called I got a representative who did not speak english very good and she would not let me talk to a supervisor regarding this change. I lost my job and my husbands was cut to just a 32 hours a week. We do not have the money to pay this amount. She stated that it did not matter the rates would not change. They could however change my visa card through them from 29.99% to 24.99% with a change in min from 100.00 to 88.00 per month. I told them this would not do and they still would not help. They refused to help because she stated the intrest rates are up and they could not work with me. This was the best they could do.

Our credit is not great but we have not been late or never paid the amount due. This is the worst company. I can not get any help from them. Customer service has no ideal what they are doing. Everything is probably laid out in front of them in a company program that tells them what they can and cannot do.
