This lady borrowed $55,000 from me and has never paid it back or tried to make an interest only payment

Shumona Shobhamoi borrowed $55,000 from me in Nov '06 and has never tried to pay it back, or to make an interest only payment on this loan that I tried to set up with her.

Now, be careful. She come across as VERY knowledgable in the financial field. But you soon find out that she is way to detail oriented, a control freak, and ends up pissing people off because she is way to "in your face" about how EVERYTHING should be done. She can not work with others and because of that she ends up killing every deal that she gets involved in. She either irritates the lender, or the borrower, or both to the point that they disappear. She is paranoid about being circumvented, even after her paperwork is signed. She tries to force everyone to send everything through her and want to have the final say on everything. I tried for a couple years to work with her, mostly so that I could get my money back, but every deal falls apart because she has a strangle hold on it.

She claims to be working 5-6 jobs to "get by", but I have found out through other sources that she has borrowed over $130,000 from various people this last year alone. Not bad for someone who is broke and can not make an interest only payment on a prior loan, huh?

All of the people that worked with her when I gave her this loan have not heard from her in a lone time, and do not want to.

I am posting this here because I have tried numerous time to contact her and now she won't return my e-mails or calls, and by going to a lawyer I could get a judgement against her, but what good would it do? She really doesn't own anything. She uses her Mommy's bank account, and everything is in her parents name.

I guarantee she will respond to this when she see's it, and it will be extremly detailed and very long, trust me. She will try and defend herself to the world, but the simple fact is that she has borrowed money from me and refused to keep in touch with me or make ANY attempt at a small monthly payment on this loan.

DO NOT LEND HER ANY MONEY-unless you can afford to give it away.
