I purchased a tank of gasoline at the pump. The amount was $75.00 Total.
When I got my bill. I was charged three times. Twice the same day. Once two days later. All with the same purchase number. I notified WaMu fraud division the same day I received my statement. Went through the whole fax me the info. They sent a letter telling me I didn't provide enough info for them. It was the same transaction three times. For the exact same amount. Same transaction number. They refused to do anything. I am now going to sue WaMu in small claims court for the money. It is only $150.00. I could use a day off. They will have to send a guy in a suit to appear. Their paralegal representative will try call me the mourning of the small claims trial. Try to tell me a check is on the way. I won't hear it. Then I will file criminal charges against them for fraud. I will burn up $500.00 of their time. It will cost them over two thousand to fix this problem.
I will also close my account. Tell everyone I know at work, that I had to sue WaMu. After they tried to blow me off. That will cause them to loose more.
I will direct everyone I know away from their bank. Also tell them how well AMX deals with fraud. The bias goes to the consumer. I will make it my goal to make WaMu lose money forever. $150.00 WaMu. You should have just done the right thing. WaMu, you make cash attractive.
