Back in I notifed Western Reserve Life that my mailing address changed due to a move. I finally got the confirmation in November. The confirmation came, when they were advising me that once again they are going to cancel my policy after receiving payment. They gave me two weeks notice, and stated it was due to my move. They have been receiving their payments and on top of it they were mailing me the premium notices to the correct address.
So trying to do the right thing I called my insurance agent and explained what was happening and asking for assistance to clear this matter up.in the meantime I paid the higher premium they were requesting.
They still cancelled my policy, saying the payment wasn't received in time but sending written documentation showing the payment was received with three days to spare and refusing to assist my insurance agent to clear this matter up.
I have called to no avail, I have paid more than the required amount and still they are not going to reactivate my life insurance. I think that this company needs to be investigated for FRAUD! They are FRAUDING the consumer, they make up rules as they go. They never give direct answers and on top of that they with hold funds that belong to the consumer. To me it sounds like another AIG in the making and this has been going on for years! This is the second policy that they have cancelled on me after receiving funds that weren't owed.
