It's a real check but it is a SCAM!

I received a letter from Pares Financials indicating I had won 100k, and it included a check for $4,577.93.

I figured it was a scam and looked online, and found two other consumer complaints. Similar to others who received the same letter and check, when I call the number no one answers. It's scary because these are likely people trying to steal our idenity! They would have asked for your bank account #, routing #, etc. Etc... And instead of a deposit you would have had a WITHDRAWAL!

I'm taking the envelope to the post office, and the check to the bank so they can investigate.
