I was contacted by aDr. Fritz Haruna to assist him in a deceased clients money that was still in the bank and the funds needed to be claimed. As a reward for my efforts I would receive 40% of the 14.5 mil $ inheritance. I had to supply a power of attorney, my ID document, I had to write letter to the bank, which I still have in my posession.
When I told Mr. Harune (when he phoned me) that I thought that this was a scam he became very defensive and said that he was a man frm church and good character. He kept on bugging me for documents I needded to sign for the bank and then he wanted me to help him pay a $680 release fee for the funds from the bak in Lome Togo via his attorney (all the documents are available).
I kept my cool and played along stating that I am poor and do not have money and cannot help with such a huge amount. He got agitated with me and said that he would thn have to find another partner and a couple of days later he did a Mr. George Blake. I received a email from Mr Haruna stating that he wil compensate me for my efforts towards the documentation $500 000.
I then said thank ou and all the best, he then asked me for banking details of mne which I provided as I knew he had no intention of ever giving money but wanted money from me, I played along. Then I received another email from Mr Haruna stating that he send my $500 000 to his parish FR Malick (St Josephs) to forward to me. I said thank you. Fr. Malick emailed me asking my ID and bank detail, I provided it.
The whole time they spoke about God and how they believe in His power but meanwhile they were ripping me off (or trying to). Mr Malick then asked me for $98 to arrange a courier for speedpost of my $500 000 cheque. I declined and said I do not have money and he must then keep the cheque for himself or either pay the courier and then I will refund him when I get my "money" he replied that he was a man of God and that he may not carry money. I declined and said he can keep the cheque as I do not have funds to pay for the courier. It just shows you how far people are willing to push you to get what thy want.
