In March I decided to take a positive step towards repairing my credit. I went online and signed up for Hargrave and Associates credit restoration program. I paid a one-time fee of $270.00 and my credit repair program began. Approximately 45 days later, I received 2 credit reports, 1 from Equifax and 1 from Transunion. I waited a couple more weeks and called Hargrave to inqure about my Experian report and was assured that all 3 bureaus were being worked on as promised.
Six months later, after hearing the same reassurance that all 3 bureaus were being worked on, I went online to check my credit score and found that Hargrave had only worked on Equifax and Transunion, so needless to say, my beacon scores a very lopsided and none of them reached the promised beacon score.
In July, I paid $225.00 for my husband's credit repair with Hargrave. I only received 2 credit reports, 1 from Equifax and 1 from Transunion. I began calling Hargrave daily in late September, but the automated system cut me off whenever it prompted for customer service representative.
My husband and I have been cheated out of $495.00 by Hargrave and Associates. But what is really ironic is the fact that many of us took the chance of paying Hargrave to repair our credit, so that we could partake in the American dream. No only did the American Dream not materialize, the American Nightmare reared its ugly head in the form of a major SCAM!
Bad Credit does not equal a Bad Person, only Bad decisions!!!
