Received a letter stating I was selected to participate in a paid Consumer Research program in my area of residence. I also received a check for the amount of $4995.00. The check was drawn from Idaho Independent Bank, Hayden Office, 8882 N. Government Way. Hayden Lakee, Idaho 83835. The check looks legit and the the bank is. The company name on the check is " Impact, case and container, 6684 W. Boekel Road, Rathdrum, Idaho 83858. This company is also legit as far as I can tell from search on the internet.instuctions in the letter were for me to fax my info to their fax number, then deposit teh check then proceed to a MoneyGram location and send $4400 to Racheal and insert my last name, to a location in either the US or Canada, they would provide the location. The second step would be for me to shop at any of the provided shopping locations (Home Depot, Sears, Gap, JC Penney, Walmart, K-Mart and spend $105.00 and then evaluate their service. The remaining $300 would be my pay for being a mystery shopper, As noted in other "consumer complaints" the check is not good, this is just an avenue for these con artists to get access to your bank accounts. I am going to turn this letter and check over to my local sherrif department.
