I caught a scam

I received a check for 4890.15 in the mail. I read the letter saying I had won $250,000 in the USA Mega Millions also known as "The Big Game". I had question about because for one I didn't play that day and two The Mega Millions isn't drawn on a Saturday. The check came at the right I was in need of money, my car just broke down. I googled the name and came across similar accounts of the same situation. I called Ms. Marsha Davis to activate my check, she told me I HAD to deposit the check into an account.
