I applied for a loan with a company of a different name. An agent called me on the phone and let me know what amount of money I would get if I were approved. I never got a call or email saying you were approved and this will be deposited on _? I had actually found another loan company with a lower interest rate. (Who by the way, called me at work to verify approval and sent me emails, ETC) I chaecked my account to check deposit from latter company and saw a deposit from MTE. I checked my emails in an attempt to contact them, but soon realized I had no phone number or email to respond to.
I began to think maybe it was a refund of some sort due to me that I forgot about. When my payday arrived $90 was deducted from my account. Then another payday. Then another payday. With out any contact from anyone. I searched usacomplaints.com and found a number from another person who was complaining. So I called it. It seemed to be legitimate. But it is automated and after choosing several prompts, I But I soon realized there were no options to leave a message, talk to a live person or any referral to email or website.
