I want to first say that if it weren't for IMC Financial Services, I would not have saved my home. I found their staff to be compassionate and very responsive to my needs. I came across this complaint and I thought it would be fair to share my experience with the company.

My initial contact with the company started when I completed a short application online. I was contacted by this company via email by Solomon, regarding my home being in foreclosure. I emailed Solomon requesting more information and within a couple of hours I received a call from the gentleman. He then went over all my financials, talked to me about what exactly his company does, and how they could find a solution for my home. I was enrolled on 7/9/08 and their services cost my $1,500. I have to say that at first I was apprehensive to give my credit card information over the phone; but I wanted to save my home and therefore I decided to take a chance so I could save my home. I received my enrollment package later that day in my email, which immediately eased my fears. Their package included a detailed contract which explained exactly what the company's responsibilities were and what my responsibilities were. As I was going through the contact, I was contacted by a young lady named Jessica. She explained that the purpose for her call was to ensure that I had received my enrollment package and to answer any questions I had about the contract. After going over the paperwork with her she informed me that I would be receiving another call from their administrative department to discuss the supporting documents that they would need to assist me. As Jessica indicated, the next day I received a call from a representative named Brian. He asked me for paycheck stubs, tax returns, mortgage statements, a letter explaining my hardship and a few other documents. I worked with Brian for a few days as he called me everyday to ensure that I was following through on my responsibility to get these documents to the company. After Brian received everything he requested he told me that I would be contacted by a member of mitigation within 72 hours.

After a few days I was contacted by Mr. Hoffman. I want to say, in response to your complaint that Mr. Hoffman was GREAT on my account.in our initial conversation Mr. Hoffman explained to me what his process was, we went over what made me delinquent. He asked me a lot of questions that I felt that I had already answered; but Mr. Hoffman explained that he was the individual that would be fighting for me to save my home and the it was important that he understood from me what my challenges were and why I wanted to keep the home so he could better represent me. For about a month I spoke back and forth Mr. Hoffman in every conversation he would update me on the progress he was making with my lender. Although it was a stressful situation, I had faith that he was doing his best to help me. Mr. Hoffman ended up getting me a great loan modification with my lender Washington Mutual.in the end my interest rate was lowered for 60 months allowing me the time I needed to get back on my feet. I was required to pay $2,000 upfront to my lender to start the program; but the remaining balance of back payments I owed was put in with the rest of my loan. The best part was that my payment dropped $200 a month, which is exactly what I needed to feel financially comfortable.

I am expressing my experience with you because though I am sorry that you didn't have a great experience with this company I want people to know that I did. I especially enjoyed working with Adam Hoffman and am shocked that you felt the way you did about this company.

I'm so happy to be in my home and want people to know that IMC Financial Services SAVED MY HOME!!!

I would also like to comment back to another part of the your reports made about this company. I read their contract in detail because fortunately Jessica went over everything with. I want to say that nowhere in the contracts does it read WE PROMISE TO SAVE YOUR HOME. They guarantee you a solution, they don't promise anything specific because really they have to negotiate with the lender, which is how Adam explained it to me. At the end of the day, I hired IMC Financial Services to negotiate on my behalf because I don't know everything about mortgage loans and negotiation is not my best skill set. I am confident that the plan I received from my lender could not have been received without the help of this company.
