Had a $3,500.00 diamond ring on auction on Ebay. Potential buyer contacted me to purchase. Wanted to use HIS escrow company for the transaction. His company was www.entirety-lead.com a so called escrow company. While trying to confirm this company's indentity he began transaction proceedings. Entirety-lead has a customer service contact. You send them an email and they are supposed to reply. Needless to say I never received anything from this company. The buyer assured me money was being held by Entirety-lead and instructed me to FedEx the diamond ring to him with tracking info.
Obviously, when I received nothing from this company and could not confirm anything I did not FedEx anything to this person. I did some searching, found out website was a fraud. Knew something was wrong when buyer refused to use Ebay's escrow service or PayPal.
Watch out for fake escrow companies when selling on Ebay. Ebay has two secure methods of payment. PayPal and www.escrow.com. They are both backed by Ebay.
