I too got a letter saying I am GUARANTEED a $5,000 Platinum Card with 0% for the entire 12 months for only $45 standard processing fee. It sounded too good to be true, and it obviously was.
I first noticed that there was no actual or physical address, no telephone number, and no website address. I decided to check it online, and was amazed at finding this web site with so many reports about Consumer First and Robert Stevens allready.
Did anyone get him yet? Is that his real name? I sure hope an end can be put to this one way or another. He's taking advantage of the people who are trying to build or rebuild their credit, and these people are most sensitive to promising letters such as this one.
