My company brought a client to this thief and after many promises were made we finally closed the loan. I say we because my company finally got the loan closed with the lender this thief brought to the table. We had to take care of it because they couldn't.
The only problem was that since they brought the lender, the lender held the thief as broker of record and the thief took the entire commission and never paid.
Not only that, they tried to slip in extra yield spread for themselves at the last minute and gave the lender grief when we told the lender any extra yield spread would kill the deal.
We have received a judgement against these people and are trying to collect.
