This company contacts you on as a credit advisor company able to get you approved for a loan to consolidate your bills. Upon them contacting you after they have received your information they wait a week to contact you again informing you that you have been approved for this large amount of money and will receive it within 24- 48 hours, at a low interest rate.in my case I was approved for $10,000.00 @ interest rate at 7.50% with monthly payment of $ 212.86 over a 4 year term.
After receiving all this information I was told because of my credit history I need to send $1,500.00 as a down payment, which I borrowed and done so. I was informed to wire the money to Ontario, Canada. The fund was picked up the same day.
I called the next day to see when the funds will be available and was informed that I need to send an additional $1,500.00 for insurance on the loan to cover the 4 year loan agreement, that when I became suspicious. Upon calling the Attorney General and the phone buster in Canada I was not the only person that done this, with more research the address on the contract is a business address but this company (Protek Credit Advisors has never been located in that location.
I am now have bills piling up and am getting behind on everything. I was really counting on that loan and the really needed the money I gave to them to pay my rent and all of my bills.
