Home Assure was very helpful in the beginning. Their associates responded to my phone calls and e-mails on time and with the information that I was requesting. After sending them the check for their services that all changed. It took sometimes days for anyone to get back to me. I had to call their main office on many occasions and complain before my rep would call me or e-mail me. I tried on several occasions to contact the office manager where my rep was located and he would never call me back. Their excuse was that they were busy and could not respond back to me. Its strange that they were not all that busy until they received my check.

The rep that was assigned to my case lied to me on many occasions, she kept telling me that she was in direct contact with the lender and assured me that everything was going as planned. Even after knowing the sale date on my home the rep lied to me and told me that she contacted the lender and that it would take a few more weeks for them to get back to her. A few more weeks would have put me well past the sale date and the rep knew that. I had to contact the lender directly and worked out a deal on my own, if I had not done this I would have lost my home.

The rep also wanted me to include false information about my total income and include that I was receiving rent money from a roommate.
