Trust Point Lending Group
Scammed me for $994.16!

I don't know if this company is operating anywhere but they are probably under a different name if they are. I was promised a loan for $8000 but had to pay $980 up front, due to my bad credit. It was explained to me as the first 4 monthly payments were needed up front, so my payments wouldn't start until september or so. Having bad credit, i know you have to do things outside the ordinary sometimes in order to get things, as with my car that i purchased from a buy here pay here lot (and got ripped off too, but i still have the car at least!). I wired it to someone named irene stroud in canada, under the premise that it was someone in the "private lender's" accounting department, and it was done this way to avoid international business taxes that i would have had to pay to send the money. Then i received a call 3 hours before my money was to be deposited and they told me that the lender reassessed my file and found they needed 4 more monthly payments up front to cover the insurance on the loan, but my payments wouldn't start until february. Of course after that i checked them out and found a scam alert and postings from a bunch of people that had been ripped off by them, some even up to $2500! I even explained my situation to the guy and he said over and over again that i could trust them. I explained all the bills racking up, that i was about to miss my car payment, insurance, my 15 month old son's insurance, my rent and utilities and that this was my saving grace. I told him practically in tears how much my family needed this money and that if this was a scam that he would be ultimately stealing from my 15 month old son and possibly making him go without food and a place to live. All i have to say is these people are scum and they will rot in hell. Please let me know if anything is being done, i already filed a report with the internet crime complaint center as directed by the fbi. If anyone else is a victim, please file reports and let's blow this out of the water and bring these heartless wastes of life to justice.
