I got sued because this company would not negotiate a debt low enough to keep a commission.
It came out by the hour as I paid my lawyer to represent me. This company took my money month by month, charged me fees, kept the interest. Then they lied to me telling me that the lowest some creditors would go was 30 percent off.
When in fact, the creditors had gone much lower than that, but not low enough for their commission purposes.
Then I got dragged to court and am now being garnished. Plus I have to pay my own lawyer back.
