After Paying off and cancelling my Capital One card...
The Company illegally accepted a charge from credit protection.
I was then charged a late fee for this improperly acquired charge. And subsequently charged late fees on the late fees.
The whole matter was finally turned over to collections. Despite, repeated (3 times) assurances from calls to Capital One customer service that the matter had been resolved.
I have found it impossible to contact anyone with knowledge or authority to resolve this problem.
