300cash.com Never applied with them, took $19 dollars from my account without warning

I had a cash emergency come up (I needed groceries, and a family member was supposed to wire me some cash, so I wrote a check at the supermarket and needed money to cover it as the family member never came through). I applied a a few different sites, and got denied because they ran my credit. Which is fine. I understand that my credit isn't the best, and since they took the time to look at my credit report, I felt that these companies were legit. I made the mistake of applying with what I thought was a lender's site (which after I entered all my info, it popped up with a message that they "find" lenders and don't actually loan the money). So, I didn't click on any of the companies that popped up, and gave up on the payday loan thing. I borrowed the money instead from a friend, and didn't think anything else of it.

Yesterday, I checked my bank statement online and noticed that there was a debit for nineteen dollars from a company called 200cash.com. I looked up the website and knew that I had NOT placed an application with them. So I contacted my bank, and they are sending out the paperwork to get the charge and overdraft fee removed.

I attempted to contact the company via phone, and all I got was an automated system. After randomly trying to punch in numbers trying to talk to a real individual, I gave up and sent them an email. I got an automated response back saying I needed to e-mail a different address, which I did. They never replied.

After that, I got onto this site, and saw how many other people this company has screwed. I sent some of the links to my bank via e-mail to further validate my claim.

The only way that this company could have gotten my info is from that loan broker site, because I checked the history on my computer and never went to 200cash.com.

Nineteen dollars may not seem like a lot to some people, however, I'm on Worker's Comp right now, and just had surgery, plus I have a seven year old child, so I do not have the money to waste. Most people who do apply for payday loans are in the same (or similar) boat as I am.

I never received an e-mail stating that this company was going to take money from my account. And I haven't heard from them since. I even checked my spam folder to see if they did, but they did not.

So please, anyone out there, beware of payday loan sites that "broker" out your information!
