It started with a credit card i was trying to pay off. All of a sudden, my payments were being sent back to me! I thought this was weird. I called the phone number on my statement and to my surprise I got a recording stating that the number i dialed was no longer in service. Nor did I receive any papers explaining what happened.
I went about 3 months without paying anything. I finally get a call from a law office (Scott Lowery) stating I had an outstanding debt of about $2000.00 and i had to pay it all within 30 days. I told them I couldn't and they asked if there was a way to get money. I said no, i can give you this certain amount and that's it.
They didn't like that, they wanted my whole paychecks. I am still fighting with them to this day. I just found out this morning, that the law office called my roomate's elderly mother to get a hold of me! That was going way too far! I called and told them They need to deal with what i give them. They are lucky i'm even giving them anything.
All of this trouble for $2,000.00. This law office NEEDS to be stopped. They are ruining my life and the harrassment needs to stop. All they want is money. They don't care that you have other expenses and that some people just can't give them a substantial amount of money!
