I guess my complaint is fairly simple. I have a checking account and a savings account with Washington Mutual. They have a service that they will fund my checking account from my savings account if I become overdrawn for $10. My problem is that they charged me a fee and withdrew from my savings account even though it was not overdrawn. When I called, they said there was nothing they could do. Their own internet records show I was not overdrawn. I have never had a "fake" deposit in the past or anything to warrant suspicion. My credit rating is good. Attached is a cut and paste from their website. It's a bit messy, but gets the point across a lot faster.

I think it's fairly common to take out money at a deposit. While I was a checking account only customer, this never had a fee or was blocked. Now that I have a savings account, they want to charge a fee. Not only is this a bad practice, but it also was not disclosed. The transaction took place on their property on their machine. When I go to any third party ATM, there's a screen that says I need to accept whatever charge they ask for, yes or no. If one had asked if I accepted a $10 fee in order access my own money, I would have said no. I put money in a bank to save it and get some interest, not so they can steal it.
