This company I feel was not honest, because were charged "interchange" fees, like I knew to ask about that. They were alot, by visa and mastercard. I feel it was because we only took corporate cards and from the various comments (no one would come out and tell me this, or the same thing twice about anything) we may have had improper equipment and needed to upgrade. We only take the occasional cc and mostly give 30 days of credit, but some companies like working with cc, to save on paperwork I guess. We bought our first cc from them used, and being that we didn't know anything assumed that it was easy. It seemed odd the "help" they would give me, from your not set up right, to you need better equipment (but they knew nothing about cost, remember we only run the occasional card approx less the 5-15 thousand a year.) With all the fees it was running over 5 percent to run a cc. Then to top it all off, after getting nowhere, I cancelled out of fustration, and a week later was debited 500 dollars on my checking. My contract says NO CANCELLATION FESS! Very easy to note in a glance. When you call to complain you have to call several numbers to be told that you are next in line to get a live person. But no..., you get voice mail of agent that is suppose to be on the phone and will return your call in 48 hours business hours. Yeah right.
