My story is now a common one. After refusing to sign documents three times because the information was not correct, Mr. M. McConville called two months later and said he now had a company we could work with. His Good Faith Estimate was $2,500. We never received anything from the bank. When the loan funded our closing costs were over $35,000. The were six (6) pages of documents that were missing when we signed final docs. After the close we found out either signatures or initials on all of those instruments were forged.
For any victims please keep in mind this company has very private information on all of us. I strongly recommend calling a reporting agency either Experian, Equifax or TransUnion. They will protect you for free for ninety (90) days. The number for Equifax is 1 800 525-6285. If you call one, that company will alert the others.
My loan is with citimortgage. If your loan is with them call the "Fraud Hotline" at 1 800-568-8207. I recommend people with other lenders do the same. Lets dry up their sources of funds so they can't defraud others.
I have retained Cron, Israels & Stark to represent me. Ed Stark can be reached at 1 310 393-7300.
