We were only 2 notes behind and we were having a lot of problems with finance at the time because my wife had lost her job. To make a long story short after receiving really harsh letter we decided to give up the house and we had told them we would after moving out.
This company HHF had someone come into our home and lock us out without any foreclosure notice or anything. Then they keep all our stuff, told us we would be arrested if we entered the home, locked us out of our home, and never returned anything, nor did they send us anything after the sale of the home.
We had atleast $30,000 we should have go back after the sale of that house and we go nothing. They never contacted me and now when I try to call to find out anything I am told there is nothing on the books in my name or SSN.
What a nightmare...
