Advanta offered a low interest credit card. We used the card fir equipment purshases. Payments are sent on approx. The same time of month (beginning), every month. Bank called in early mid-December claiming December payment hadn't been received. Payment had been mailed 12/5; I immediately arranged a phone payment for the amount due. (All bills paid on 12/5 by this office arrived at their destination on time (2-3 days), except Advanta payment. It arrived 3 weeks later.)
Bank raised rate from 6.99 to over 30 %. Efforts to contact bank failed. Bank phone assistants said I would receive a call from adjuster within 3-5 days (or 1-2 days, depending on teller). Calls were never returned, as promised. Rate not reduced.
Am filing report to FDIC and California State Att. General.
