On Jan 8 I received $200 from Global Financial Services as a "payday advance" loan. It was your normal, average payday loan contract that you fill out and sign and you pay the "finance fee" for the first 4 pay periods after the loan and then on the fifth, you would start paying back half of the loan amount the finance fee... Or this was so I thought. The first pay period they took $75 and each following pay period it went down by $5 till it came to $35... Which was on 05/25/07... And they have debited my account for $35 biweekly every since then... This makes a total of $1,090 that I have paid them for a $200 loan.
I have called them to check on this periodically and most of the time I can't even get anyone to answer the phone... At ANY hour of the day... And when I have gotten someone to answer, they "can't find my account" and then hang up on me very quickly.
I am not a rich woman... Obviously or I wouldn't have taken out a loan... And me and my husband live pay check to pay check pretty much, so $1000 is ALOT of money to us, and to think that pretty much STOLE this money from us is just such a shame.
If there is ANYONE out there that knows how I can go about getting this money back, I would love to hear from you... PLEASE someone help me get justice on this company.
