In September I answered an ad in the local paper stating that a company was looking for data entry people to work from home. Very excited, I answered the ad and was told that the software would cost me $279 plus $20 shipping. I was sceptical, but really wanted to work from home and paid the money.
Three weeks later I finally received a package with two CD's. The CD's did not show much of anything and was instructed to study a test and call the Customer Support Processing Center when I had studied the test. I was informed that a verbal test was to be taken once I had studied the test and when I call the support center, I talked to someone supposedly named Jennifer who was quite rude to me and said that until I can answer all the questions correctly, I could not move forward. I called back 3 days later and passed the test.
After passing the test I was told that in one week I would receive the names of three doctors to send my letters to and request that they let me do their medical claims processing. When I received the names of the three doctors, I looked them up on the internet and could not find the doctors anywhere. When I called and told this to Jennfier she about ripped my head off stating that "if I did not like the doctors sent to me that I can find my own doctors and be done with them". I sent my letters and waited the three weeks like requested and heard nothing. I called once again and told her that I had heard nothing and she asked me to call back in one week while she investigates the problem.
After the week was up, I called and as usual had to wait to hear back from her. She called and for some reason was not able to get in touch with any of the doctors and asked me to once again check my email in a week for another set of three doctors.
Once again I waited the week, got my doctors and the addresses provided to me were inclusive with the addresses found on the internet. I sent my letters and received one back and have heard nothing from the other two. I called her again after three weeks and she said she would investigate and let me know after one week what she found. I called her back after one week and she said that one dr. Was on vacation and the other put me on priority. However, she could not provide to me any of the names of the five doctors that she was referring to.
In the meantime, I was to check my email again after one week to get another three doctors. I waited and got the third set and checked all their information over the AMA and found that none of them were associated with the AMA. I am waiting to call her back in three weeks to see what information she has on the the last set of doctors that I have no intention to send the letters to. I am sure that she will have talked to them and they, too, will put me on priority without even knowing that I exist.
