I'm being sued for a debt I owe. I received this info.in the mail

I am being sued by Pressler & Pressler/New Centruy Financial for a debt I owe $490. Don't know how they have a right to sue, but I must report to the county clerks office before the end of Jan. 2008 to answer this summons.

I've been unemployed since 9/30/06. Can't take care of this debt at this time.
