Pressler & Pressler have been claiming that I owe a debt of $2,559.96.
They have sent a judgement against me several times. I have asked them to prove to me that this debt is mine. They have not been able to do that. I even told them that if they could prove the debt is mine that I would pay the full debt.
I got a copy of my credit report from 3 sources and they had on my report that i was in default to a Household Finance Co. Corporate acct. From Pressler & Pressler.
I have never had this acct. So I called HFC. To inquire if they ever had me on any acct. Of theirs, so i gave them my information and S.S. Number. They checked it out and came back to be that i never had an acct. With them or with the acct. Number for the HFC acct. That was on my credit report.
With this information I was now thinking that this is fraudulent and against the law.
