I was warned about The Mortgage Store, but had to learn my lesson by actually going through their process of lies and unethical practices. I was told that the way they operate is to tell you one scenario and deliver another at closing and that most people just sign at that point rather than start all over.
Low and behold, the warning was right on target. Not only were closing costs 2,000 higher than the company I ended up choosing, they weren't fully disclosed upfront. More importantly, the terms of my refinance didn't come back as "planned".
What they weren't counting on was me not signing on their crooked little lines. I'm sure everything the former employee, Nick, has posted is 100% true.
They will tell you that they "close more loans in Kansas City than any other company"... All that tells us is that even more people are believing their ads and buying into their lies and getting ripped off!
The Mortgage Store in Kansas City is sleazy and unethical. I would strongly suggest listening to the lessons others have learned and take your business to a reputable company.
