Called 5 times in one day, last contact at 8:55pm CST. While on the phone with this person the very same number rang through on my second line (call waiting).
During our conversation I tried to explain myself in the fact that the debt she was trying to collect is an active account with Nicor Gas. I acknowledge the debt, but have made arrangements with the utility company directly.
She would not stop talking, kept insisting on a checking account# or a credit card number. I do not have a checking account, or a credit card. I tried to explain to her that the debt is with her incorrectly because the utility company is had arrangements with me.
She just kept asking for a checking account # or a credit card number. When I asked her to send me a letter so I could have the address to send her a cease and desist letter she said she already sent me one, if she did I didn't get it. She told me I couldn't get another letter, she kept asking for payment information for this bill. I kept trying to talk to her and explain but after like the sixth time of asking for payment information she hung up on me.
