Homecomings Financial Insurance Claims
Holding my insurance money tempe arizona

It started back on August we had a furnance fire at which we reported to our insurance company. Then the check was paid to order of myself and Homecomings which because of the dollar amount they had to deposit into their Hazard suspense account so they can disburse to us once we had given them documentation of what needed to be done.

On 10/27/07 we had faxed them the required documents on 2 occasion because they claimed to have not received. Then on 11/2 spoke to Juanita again on 11/26 spoke to Jan Davis who at that time confirmed that a check for 1/3 would be released after it goes for signature on 12/3 the check mailed regular and at that it was relased because everything was in order.

On 12/4 I spoke to Latonya to ask on how long would it take to get an inspector out because the job will only take 1 day she told me anywhere from 2-5 business days and that once they get the report from the inspector then it will take another 2-4 business to get final draft released. On 12/8/07 the job was completed.

I called on 12/11 to see where they were at becuase the inspector confirmed on 12/10 that the email was sent to Homecomings complete.in speaking to Ms. Veronica Gonzales she informed that the check was not going to be released because they needed the Insurance Adjuster breakdown meaning itemeized. I then asked her why was I not told previously as I had already confirmed prior to me booking the contractor and assured that there would be no delay which at that time I was assured.

I told them the adjustor worksheet they had all along and from the time we started I was told that was fine. Ms. Gonzalez said that she agreed and tried to get her supervisor to release but they must have this from the insurance company first. I then asked again why wasn't I informed prior to making the appointment for the inspector or when they released the first check. Ms. Gonzalez stated that she wasn't the person handling my claim and this is what she is being told by her supervisor Cynthia.

I was so frustrated with them that I was not able to continue to fight for there error. So I informed my husband who then called and was given the same story by Kevin who would not disclose his last name when indeed my husband and asked for a supervisor and my husband retold the situation to come to find out that Kevin was just a regular claim adjuster.

So then my husband asked to speak to Veronica Gonzalez who also agreed with him but it was out of her hands. When my husband asked to speak to a manager or supervisor he was told they are all in a meeting and to leave a voice mail which he did for Cynthia and as of right now has not received a return call.

In the mean time we had to call our insurance company and they have to re-open the claim in order to get the itemized list. Which now we have to tell our contractor that the money will be delayed based on the above. Which makes a look like flakes, liar when we assured him as we were that the check would be released approx 7-10 days.

I fill that were have been treatedly unfairly since they have received report from their own Inspector that a new furnance had been replaced.
