I was contacted by Kevin Cole at home. He said that Option was my current mortgage lender and because they were my current lender that I would be able to refinance into a fixed home loan without a prepayment penalty. He said he already had all my information and only needed current pay stubs for my husband and I. We faxed over the information then he faxed us back a good faith estimate for a 30 yr fixed at 5.25%. We signed off on it and faxed it back. They started the process, paid off what needed to be paid off but I noticed that the pay off for our current loan was much higher. I come to find out that I was charged a prepayment penalty because Option Mortgage never had my loan. I started calling and questioning them.By this time Kevin Cole would no longer take my calls. I started to speak with Edward Giller who said he was the Sr. Underwriter and who said he had something much better for me. He said that because of our credit score we needed an additional 6 months history of on time payments to be considered as an AA lender and get the lower interest rate. He explained that the August & Sept at no payments would go towards those 6 months & that we then needed to make Oct-Jan payments on time at a higher interest rate because we would be considered high risk and then our payment and interest rate would drop. He said that begining of November I would receive a fedex package that we would need to sign and send back. Here we are December and we have yet to receive this Fedex package. I've called him numerous times and he does not return my phone calls. It is always an excuse, I just missed him, he's not in, he'll call you back, etc. Shame on Cynthia Martiniez that receptionist for working for such a company and people who are out to destroy lives. After reading other reports regarding this company I know that I will not receive a phone call from Ed. He has literally made me sick and emotionally unbalanced with this entire ordeal. I am currently in the process of getting out of this loan at whatever cost but will press on for something to be done about this company and all the heart ache, pain, stress they have made so many families go through. What they are doing is very inhumane and they should be prosecuted and put out of business.
